Hey Mountaineers!

We had a great first meeting for the start of the semester and a big welcome to everyone who came for their first time! This week had quick introductions and basic 'who we are' question and answers.

Big points from the week -

Labor Day weekend trip is headed up to Blue Mounds, MN!! Sign up is open until next Monday so contact Bethany - brdrury@iastate.edu - It's about a 5 hour drive and a $30 per person trip... worth it for an awesome weekend for top-rope climbing.

For those of you who want to go on trips in the future (Labor Day included) you need first start out by filling out our 2 waivers

Club member dues are $25 for a semester or $45 for a year - first trip you go on is free without dues, the second we consider you a member.

We also have some awesome t-shirts this year $10 for members $15 for non so bring some cash our next meeting!
Speaking of meeting.... Monday night at 8:00 we will see you in Physics Hall room 0003!
Tomorrow (Wednesday) night a few of us will also be heading to Wall-Nut Creek Climbing Gym for some unofficial climbing time. Check out our link for directions http://www.stuorg.iastate.edu/places/Wall-Nut/ or Dan has kindly offered rides so give him a call at 623-252-2574
